Hey!
I'm in Hackney, does anyone nearby have a chain whip and Shimano cassette tool I could borrow until Sunday?
Thanks in advance!

Looking to borrow a Soldering Iron for an evening or two.
I'm between Camden and Haggerston, so anything around there would be v. convenient.
Thanks! -

Head tube facer anyone?
-
• #1381
I don't have facers or reamers or thread taps. Yet!
They are more frame building / painting tools so you would have more chances in those threads.
Or give £20 to SBC

Is there anyone within a mile or two of Leyton who could lend me a pair of headset spanners and a UN-55 bottom bracket installation tool?
Happy to pay with beer/chocolate/high-fives

Anyone got the 9 pin royce/hope bb tool I can borrow by any chance?

Anyone got a circular saw I could borrow over the xmas period? I'm SW based (Kingston) but pretty flexible on pick up options. If I buy one, it will just sit unused for years under the stairs, which seems a waste of both my money and planet's finite resources.
I'll buy you beer / tea / donate to a charity of your choice etc.

Not a circular saw, but I have one of these if it's any help.

Thanks for the offer.
I need to cut some long boards to make a shed roof, and some lengths of timber, which that seems more suited to...but the big boards are where I want to be able to rip along in one straight cut. That won't help me will it?
I can cut the timber with my hand saw.
-
• #1389
Correct. No problem if you want it for the timber lengths though .

Thanks, will bear it in mind as plans develop... Kind of you to offer though.
Still in the hunt for a circular saw folks.

Hmm.
I seem to have a circular saw, Royce and Shimano BB tools, and a range of headset spanners. All in SE7, if that's any use to anyone - not exactly close to Leyton, and three weeks late for that request.
(Could handily make use of the chop saw if it's not too far away - I don't have a whole lot of cutting to do though, so it's probably easier just to do it by hand rather than sorting out transport.)

Can I borrow the Royce bb tool and would you be willing to post it? I'll cover the costs both ways. Might need it for a couple of weeks while a frame gets repainted though

Hi all,
Does anyone have a 3/8 inch ratchet I can borrow near Hackney?
Preferably I can borrow it for a few days, I need to remove my BB - paint my frame then reinstall.
Please let me know!
-
• #1397
I do have one, not a ratchet but a 3/8" with a lever bar and I'm based in SE1 Southwark Bridge Road. Can post photo tomorrow if needed.

Thank you for the offer! But I picked one up today, it's about time I invested.
