You mean a handlebar-mount?

Rollei would probably fit in a generously sized stem bag?

Might have a look

I don't have a pizza rack and was looking for something cheaper than 80 EUR though, so probably will give the generic mount a go if I buy it.

A bike was posted in here (or gravel thread) months back, it was a prime example of an old steel. rimbrake cx frame repurposed for gravel and generally fun. Anyone have any ideas? I think I remember it having a fairly large crankset, if that's any help

Still got rim stickers.
Unbelievably wet rid to work today, mudguards worked a treat.

all you need now is a poncho rennie - been using mine on my dadbike and i get through the 9km to uni pretty dry, all in normal clothes!

+1 for ponchos. Best rainy day investment short mudguards!
A bugger in a headwind tho. -

Great in a tail wind I bet.

That is a major step into dad biking!
The soggy crotch is a bummer but now that I'm a dad I have very little use for the fleshy appendage that occupies the aforementioned crotchural area. So if it freezes and falls of it's not a biggie.

hahaha
@MisterMikkel they are a bugger in a headwind but equally i cycle so slowly to work (to avoid sweating) that it doesn't make too much of a difference.
@Josh can confirm. Went about a kilometer on the flat doing 30km/h+ without pedalling the other week.

Definitely!
I'd never recommend anything else than rain cape for someone commuting.
It's just I usually have a headwind heading home from Uni :D -

get one with handlebar loops - nowhere near as good without. I use the people's poncho which is quite nice. The hood has a really good peak and can sit under my helmet without constraining my shoulder checks, too.

..yes, or a huge umbrella - this would match the bike a lot better I think!
Might not be great in windy conditions either though.

Phwoar.
What a fantastic idea! I need a dedicated Rollei storage solution.
