How? I'm getting the car for free, I estimate it'll be $1500 in total for parts and labour if it needs a new intake manifold, light cluster will be $80, new tyres <$400... Less than ten year old car with only 120k on the clock... That's pretty cheap for on the road costs, a half decent used car will cost me much more than that... It actually drives fine as it is but I just wanna get it sorted...
It is a Mazda3, yes... I'll have to wade through the paperwork when I get the car and see where it goes, my mate hasn't had any trouble insuring it up 'til now but I did try and get an online quote on Suncorp and couldn't get past the insurance write off bit...
Another mate has a garage in the city, might have to take the plunge and do my first run into town behind the wheel so he can do the work for me... Shitting myself at the prospect!!! 😂
