I want to like it because fallout. However from what I've read it doesn't sound that good at all.

Anybody else finding Battlefield V incredibly difficult?
I'd got to a point in Battlefield 1 where I would regularly finish 5-8th place but on this new one I'm getting absolutely rinsed.
Seems much harder to spot enemies for some reason. -

What's wrong with Eurogamer? Their writing is top notch IMO. Seems like the hate for fo76 is more than justified.
also I just got the legend of the east satchel, yes! Can finally crack on with the story.

Black Friday pricing surely?

RDR2 still £49.99 tho.

My comment was based on this article:
https://www.usgamer.net/articles/fallout76-ps4-and-xbox-one-best-black-friday-price
But maybe Black Friday does come at a convenient time for Bethesda, hoping to target people who are currently still on the fence after the bad reviews across the board.

That would make sense, I was referring to RDR2 not needing to be discounted due to it's being already a popular games putting FO76 in the shadow.

Don't tell me you're a gamer if you don't know who this is ...

Agreed, eurogamer is the dogs and i have come to favour their recommended/essential ratings way more than any 10/10 format.

I do actually like FO76. Wandering around trying to figure out wtf happened to everyone. Reading/Listening to the holo tapes.
That said, it does feel a bit "empty" like The Division did at start.
The camp system, while I get it's supposed to be a camp not a base, is annoying. And I'm always out of space to carry stuff. Bobby pins weight a stupid amount. For 19 quid, if you liked any of them it might be worth it.

Ringing endorsement haha

Well I don't want anyone whining they spent their last lunch money and don't like it lol

I’ll wait a couple of months, this is a prime candidate for a PS+ monthly freebie game.

Even then, given the reviews, I might not bother.

Me too, I enjoyed just obtaining side quests and such, I realised I enjoy those in the previous Fallouts more than the main stories (except New Vegas).

What's a solid base building RTS? Either thinking something present/futurey like C&C or maybe an olde worlde thing along the lines of AOE. Doesn't need to have a campaign mode. Single player.
If there's an optimised version for mac so I don't have to boot into Windows all the better.

StarCraft?

Obviously, I expect you to know every game I've played already and frankly I'm disappointed by your input so far etc.
Really into the idea of Ancient Cities but they seem to be no closer to release than they were about a decade ago.

Bit different but, They Are Billions?
just got Monster Hunter for 20 quid on xb1. Jesus its massive. I played a psp one years ago and thought this would explain the workings a bit more as the old one simply let you sink or swim. I was wrong. There's so many menus to go through and notes to read its like a bloody text adventure with occasional thumping monsters.
I'm loving it.
