I didn't spot this at the time. I seem to remember a few incidents in Drayton Park more than ten years ago, but there have never been many bike-related muggings there as far as I know.

Sort of related (geographically at least), up near the Auld Triangle tonight 5 or 6 youths crowding round an older guy who cried out for help as I rode past.

Stopped in the middle of the road and yelled long enough and loud enough for someone in one of the houses to offer to call the police. I zipped home and did the same, woman on the call said police were on scene by the time I called.

Numbers were well against a direct intervention.
