Agreed, but why not SPD/MTB pedals? At least you can walk around on those shoes, something you'll probably do a lot when it's a town bike.

Meh, I like the Time cleats and it takes a grand total of 12 seconds to change shoes haha. I see where you’re coming from, but having different pedals/shoes/cleats for different bikes seems like more of a faff

Ah, didn't think of that. I don't like bringing an extra pair, probably one of the reasons why I would rule out road pedals immediately. Different strokes of course!
