Never even had the decency to pm a thanks after his brother picked them up either, so yes very poor form. The easton stem was in the box of bits too.
That's the problem with giving stuff away. You always want them to go to somebody who will make use of them but usually get user12345 with 0 posts, or some greedy twat that is just going to sell them on.

I gave away a bunch of dvds and video games on a Facebook group. A horrible woman collected them, complained that there was one missing and didn’t say thank you. She then put them up for sale on the same group and when I questioned it I was banned and my original post deleted ☹️

Yeah this really blows, community etiquette completely out the window to make a bit of blingaling. Very selfish, and probably drives an Audi.
