Not a bad idea, that, if maybe a bit gimmicky - might help drive the point home.

I suppose it felt very knee jerky to contend that no schools have any treatment of the idea of comparing two probabilistic statements with the aim of inferring a more likely outcome.
Off the top of my head, I would imagine this sort of reasoning would be touched on in a variety of topics: history when comparing sources; directly in maths when studying probability; the consideration of errors in experimental physics. I would imagine there are more.

Schools won't officially touch Brexit at the moment 'too political'...I worked in a Cambridge school on the referendum....I did a survey of all the kids I taught that day...over 100 and 70% wanted to remain in the EU....I always mention it in my lessons.... Blair is in the current A level history syllabus...so give it 10 years!

With this coming after Raab’s statement of the same thing, does this mean the ground is being prepared for a no deal?
Because if you say May’s deal is worse than what we currently have as a member of the EU, then shouldn’t we just stay where we are? Or does the boundless opportunity that would be available to us in a no deal situation trump that.. -

Except in Politics classes. They are all over it. And that's an a level that is seeing huge growth over the last few years.

Always was the most likely outcome, but depends on what happens when the deal gets voted down at the first time of asking - does May resign, or does she try and push it through again?

Hum Foster now likes a Norway style deal?
The anti immigration brexiters won't like that :)
Better than Mays plan but why not can the whole thing? Curious to see what'll happen in the commons / lords now that may has to sell her plan there.
I doubt there is suddenly a courageous move to actually opppose it with no cakeism, but who knows...

Das ist das Szenario, das sich Labour wünscht, die wichtigste Oppositionspartei des Landes. -

So...Labour doesn't want a "no deal" but thinks the EU will extend the negotiation team.
Is this another tactic to slowly, slowly let reality sink in or more cakeism? Oh, dunno, we'll see 1 minute before midnight on Brexit leaving day in March next year ;)

Labour have (moderately) successfully ridden the brexit fence since the Referendum, preventing the Tories/their supporting media claiming that 'the will of the People' is being denied.
Get past the 'substantial vote' in Parliament, voting down May's Withdrawal Agreement, and who knows where we will be.

In cakeland.
Unless Labour wants to go with a CU/SM solution, but they want immigration control. Though they said they can "make concessions" if needed for the EU.
If that happens, the damage is limited, but the fence has to be left behind at some point. So maybe that happens 1 minute to midnight, maybe mid December once the vote will fail in parliament.
But Labour then has to sell it to the moderate Tories, which in theory is possible (CU/SM is much better for business) but we have to see...
I disagree...and I teach in a secondary school....all the focus is on exam subjects...True this might come up in A level politic...for 5-10 students out of a 1000.....it could br raised in PSHE [personal, social, health education] and citizenship....but kids are not interested....how do I know? I have both been head of PSHE and Citizenship and taught it.
Remember what Mark Twain said...'never let your schooling get in the way of your education'.
