I don’t see the need I guess, phones maybe because they’re constantly handled but not something strapped to your wrist. I’ve given mine a few knocks and it’s not even scratched, are you a builder?

Today, I am not wearing a watch. Feels nice.

Old Arctura kinetic (5M42) on today and yesterday. The grindy-windy mech really needs a service/replacement. No idea how possible that is. Already has a new lithium so capacity is fine, just annoying grind of the mech.

Ha. No I’m not a builder. I do try to look after it but it suffers from the odd knock now and then. The protector works but is very unsightly.

Torgeon have 30 to 40 percent off , i like the simple look of done of the watches plus the stocked leather straps...https://torgoen.com/products/t25-cream-dial-luminescent-44-mm-brown-leather-strap?variant=5446201245724

Fair point. I’ll give it a clean.
I still think the case is unsightly though.

The Apple Watch does not deserve to be on this page - clean or not. The stunning watches above are so much nicer in every way.

It totally does, it’s a watch, a thing that tells the time. Watches and Horology, not, only fancy expensive timepieces and the odd big clock. Not a fan of fruit watches by the way, but no need to ban an ugly watch... next it’ll be Sekonda, then Casio, then Seiko.

A Ballymena man??

First they came for the apple watches.....

pdlouche - I actually have a Sekonda and a Casio but no Seiko (yet?). My good watch is a Longines. They are all gathering dust as the Apple Watch is my daily. Seems a shame really.
Technics100 - I suppose I am although I wasn’t born here.
