Are you still looking? I have a Carrera Columbus Nivacrom crimped frameset (cinelli lugs, forks,...) but it's 56 ctc. Will post photos wgen I'm on my laptop.

how would you value the frame?

The bike should be sold entire and not broken up...if you avoid doing that.... beautiful bike.

My feelings also, never split a bike yet, just curious tbh...

Your bike is one of beauty...and my size but nowhere to keep it.

I talked to Vianelli's son ... very nice chap, the business is still going, but Carbon frames now, and a store...typical small family business.
All his steel frames were custom orders in terms of geometry and lacquer work, hence no catalogues available.
This one is a very stiff race frame and not not for long leisurely rides! I have to replace the monoplaners with record callipers and the C Record levers with NR ( SR cost a fortune now) , Probably deserves better tyres than the Michelins but it's hard to find good NOS amber walls...I like Veloflex but they do tend to shred a bit. Having said that, I've a super light pair of sprints with Martano rims, probably the way to go! Thanks for the compliments, mate.
Hello,
I'm looking for a new project to restore / build up a Gilco or crimped tubed style steel road frame (Columbus but curious to any other types).
I've always had a soft spot for such frames so let me know what you have...
(Edit, not interested in Colnago Masters!)
I'm not too concerned about paint / cosmetic condition.
Desirable sizing from 53 to 55cm for ST and TT.
Many thanks
