On the whole the Sale is somewhat underwhelming.

Really? Classic tights, all different kinds of bib shorts, different insulated gillets, different rain and wind jackets, thermal jerseys and jackets, all different weights of jerseys, jeans, gloves, socks etc. + loads of RCC stuff. The only stuff that seems to be missing is the latest releases - brevet bib tights, down jacket and that.

yeah, i thought it was decent. got myself some bibs, and merino base as well. had to stop myself ordering more.

Maybe my own desire bias....?
All seems to be limited colours though.
The filtering drives me bonkers too.

But only in the most rancid/dismal colours, mostly.
