Eggs are possibly the best example where a price premium is worth paying.
That being said I buy bog-standard (though high- welfare) eggs for baking and egg white usage.
The eggs from our own chickens are unbelievably tasty in comparison to anything I can find though. Just rarely get to eat them. (Burfords and Legbars incidentally- I prefer the burford eggs due to size of yolk&egg- they’re massive!) @Chalfie- do it.
