But how do you really feel about it?
-

I feel like a fool. I might cry. I have an MRI on my fooked knee today though, so there is hope.

Hope it's not too serious. At least you're getting stuff done - waiting for medical analysis sucks.
I had physio on my back yesterday and it felt much better. I realise that's a treatment and not so much an investigation but still. -

It locked up in July, I've had the NHS pass me around 4 people to 'feel' my knee. Finally an MRI! Probably keyhole to clean up a frayed meniscus that occasionally gets trapped in the joint and locks the knee for about 4 days until it frees itself. And fuck it's painful. Basically no races until it's fixed :(

Is there no exercise you can do for that? Grind it into submission with some squats or something?
-
• #2507
I've seen a few physios, all of which tell me it's not something they can fix. One Orthopaedic surgeon told me it would eventually wear away, but the op is best to prevent the lock ups from happening in the short term.

Furry muff. I'm always looking for non-surgical interventions if possible but I'd also not wait for 12 months or something for it to heal.
-
• #2509
Yeah, it's only keyhole, so they said a week or two not doing much, then low intensity for a few months. Which is better than what I've been doing recently anyway (nothing really)...

I'm looking for something to allow me to mount my phone easily on my stem or between my aero bars for riding long distances. Quad lock looks good but there is prob not room to lock the phone in because of the extensions/pads.
I found this top peak one and it looks pretty good. Could also mount a backup front light underneath it.
Anyone used it or have any opinions on it?

Short sponsor piece with Bjorn. Most interesting bit is his plans to compete in TCR 7.

He doesn't mention PBP - which was by far his greatest cycling achievement to date

• #2515
Awesome, glad I asked!

Christ no.

Christ no.
I expect you've got other plans so won't work for you, but why do you dismiss it so vehemently?
-
• #2518
i was hoping bjorn's record might entice you to have a crack.
@frank9755 i suspect its because you have to cycle around other people. Pretty sure that's like 50% of the reason skinny wins the TCR - just hates being around other cyclists on the road!

Far more interesting (on a personal level) fish to fry. Far bigger scale too.

Mass participation non race. Not really adventurous. Not really crazy enough.
Just holds no interest. Not to say it’s not interesting, but for me, none. And something needs to be interesting to get me out of bed at 6am training.

IMO PBP has a special place in the world of cycling because of the history and partly because it only happens once every 4 years.
But I can see why you'd have other priorities.

Haha just seen the bottom bit. True story.

Most interesting bit is his plans to compete in TCR 7.
Because of the TCR7 7Mesh thing?

I would agree with that assessment. Thought it’s not enough to make me want to race (ride) it.
I just watched the "Divided" docu from Adventure Syndicate, what a waste of fucking money. Cringey annoying bollocks. How many times do you need to see someone dancing like an ADHD child next to each state sign.
To be fair, I should have known not to spend that fiver, my own fault I guess.
