WTD: Track frame, ~58cm, for 1-1/8" steerer and BSA BB

Posted on
  • So I'm slowly accepting that my current frame (a Dolan FXE) is a bit too small for me. I could just get a larger version of the FXE for ~£110, but I thought I might use the opportunity to upgrade to something nicer for a bit more money, if there is something out there.

    Important things to note:

    • Budget is ~£200 (could stretch it for something I really really want)
    • Should be a 'Large' / 56-58cm, or whatever is about right for someone who's 185cm = 6'1" - I do prefer the frame to be a tiny bit on the smaller side though.
    • It should be light: aluminium (or carbon, but I really doubt there's anything cheap enough)
    • No super-obnoxious branding, white, or neon colours. (Matte) black is the safest option, but open to nicer alternatives.
    • BSA / English BB threading
    • Needs to take a 1-1/8" steerer
    • Needs to be able to fit Omniums with a large-ish chainring

    Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

  • Easton alu GER 58ct
    Carbon fork
    300€ Pictured Frameset and parts.

  • Not a fan, sorry - also, is that a 1-1/8" steerer?

  • allright, and yes it is.

  • Fair enough, it somehow looked smaller to me for some reason! But yeah, I like the frame shape, but the grey / white colour isn't quite my thing I'm afraid. :)
