Started some new project. Had the frame for a while but didn't find the time to do something with it so decided to sell it. Found a buyer but last minute my nephew asked to keep if for him so I didn't sell. Recently he changed his mind so I got stuck with it again. Couldn't be happier. :)
Forks should be here any moment.

Bar & grips swap on gf bike last night. More rise, more sweep, more width

Have some nice mudguards for it but they arrived without bolts which is a pain in the arse

yes the hub is about 120 wide so i had to make locking spacers to take up the gap and to lock the axle to the drop outs in the right orientation. Yes i recently acquired this frame to replace a Saber that cracked the downtube - a stress crack from the bottom of the front mech bracket which was welded up once but cracked again. As a last ditch repair i was going to get the downtube sheathed in carbon fibre by a carbon frame repairer - but this Blade came up and saved me the trouble. Here is another picture - i still have to sort out the stem / bars area and saddle as not happy with the aesthetics.

Thanks, @vp1337 . I'm just not sure about the green ano crankset.

It looks very promising! As for the green ano crankset, it might work. Try it and let us see.
Looking forward to see the final result. -

Thanks for the compliment. Think I will go for a black one (but not this Firex; maybe will put the double from my XT groupset on it for now).

Close enough :) Are you going to run it with a rim brake on the rear or have a disc tab welded on?

I was actually hoping to find a Pace RC 30 for a good price so I could run front and rear with rim brakes. Welding on a disc tab would destroy the paint, I'm afraid .

What diameter are the fork legs? I have some clamp-on brake posts which need to find a new home after I changed my mind about the project for which I bought them

I need a new chain for my Cannondale, the one it came with seems to be made of cheese. What's a decent 9 speed chain for a budget build?
Looking at that wall outlet you are from around my parts. :)
What lenght/angle does the stem have?
