Shouting at peds might not be a great idea, ask charlie alliston. It could be used against you in a court of law. might be better to keep your mouth shut and claim you didn't see them (sun in the eye etc) if anything happens, that normally works for motorist at least.

Did my bit to help a lady today. She stepped off the curb without looking by the sex panther shortcut. I'd seen her in plenty of time and slowed. Gave her a nice loud shout as I got closer. Poor thing jumped out of her skin but hopefully learned something.
