Moving to it.
Bethnal Green is great, and where I am moving from pretty much, Tower hamlets is a bit cheaper too.
If you hate large social gatherings Viccy park may be best avoided, its getting busier by the year.
I hate the tube too, have rarely used it in about 15 years.

Cheers, will have a bit of a mooch around some of these areas, and surrounding, on rightmove.
