Isn't it complicated by the fact that 'prius' in Latin is an adjective, and so you'd have to know the gender of the associated noun before deciding if its masculine, feminine or neuter? I would've thought the plural would be 'priores'.

I think it's a proper noun. But, you can choose your gender, as it's not a Latin word. So, we're just making it up. It will depend on how you refer to your car. If you refer to it as a woman, then you're probably stuffed, unless someone can tell me that there are feminine words out there with an -us ending.

I went on a pupil exchange in France a long time ago. One of us was about 6'7" when he was 15 and his host family turned up in a Mini ... seeing him fold himself into it was very funny. I still remember the look on his face as the car moved off and he had his knees right up to his nose.

It really boils my piss when people cross the road in between cars, even more so when its between the first and second car at the lights, double that again if when they get across the road they walk in the direction of the lights!
