It's more on-ear than over-ear, but check out Sennheiser HD-25's.
They're super comfortable after a week or two, and have a really great sound, and very straightforward design and handling. You will get less hot than with the AKG's, and your collegues won't hear a thing.
You can get them under £150 (look for the "basic edition").
Hi everyone, I am looking for a pair of over-ear closed back headphones for use at work with a budget of between £100-£150.
I have previously owned the Senneiser HD280pro and the AKG K551 both of which I liked and did the job, but thought I'd try something different this time. I am not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination for me the most important things are comfort, I don't get too hot using them and my colleagues can't hear them.
I see Amazon are doing the Shure SRH840-E for £100 which seem to fit the bill and perhaps there will be good deals to be had this Friday.
