Also finding it hard to get exited about anything else. I like my 4S but after a bike fit, I've basically been told it's never going to work in any size, need rid.
What's so wrong with selling decent frame sets that have rack/guard mounts, BSA bottom brackets & modest tyre clearance that are not super heavy tourers.
Did a bit more research and found the Boardman ASR & Rose Pro Cross Randonneur which looks good but falls down on BB and is bike only.
New 4S sounds like an easy choice..

4S seems pretty standard dimensions for an 'all day' bike to me. Think it was a little short and high in the front so I went a size up from what I'd normally do, bonus: more bag space and less toe-overlap, but I'm running with aerobars for ultras so everything is a bit of a compromise. What freaky dimensions are you looking for?
The only reason I got the Tripster is because the old 4S Disc had flawed QR dropout design and I didn't want another 4S unless they fixed it. Now it's through axle it'll be fine. But now that I've seen the Resolution I kinda want a black or blue one of those.
I like the look of the Mason Resolution but for ~700 less I could just get the 4SD I had before and then I don't need to give a shit about measurements. I also like the neat RTD so that's an option but the fork protectors bother me a bit. Strael 2 is nice but @skinny might think I'm copying him :)
I've not been looking much. I'm not that enthusiastic about anything. I've still got a boner for the 3T Enduro but 1x is dumb and what's the point of an aero frame you cover in bags? Also £4.5k can fuck off.
