I use rubber bands on untaped extensions. I do actually have pre drilled holes for internal routing but I still consider my position to be provisional so external routing makes it easier to adjust.

Rubber bands? How many does it take to cover a side?

I need to tape my bullhorns but don't have any tape. I do have grips but can't be arsed pulling the levers off to install them.

Only 5... I only use it to stop the cables flapping around on the extensions. I use grip tape on the (internally routed) base bars.
