Is USB c just terrible for sound or do I have a bad phone? P20 Pro which generally is great, did try a Sony xz premium 1 and 2 but absolutely hated the shape of them. Had normal headphone Jack's though.
Mostly use in ear Sony jobs of 4 year vintage that were good at the time.
USB c you end up using an adapter and feel like what comes out of it is pretty poor (compared to old sony z series which had good output), trued a few peoples BT can and in ear jobs (non of real quality prob 30-50£ value and they all sound even worse, like honestly sounds like someone describing the sound to me through a toilet roll tube.
Or is there a USB c dac that would help sort it out?
Worst case scenario I just keep using my old phone for music.
Had never even twigged that little adapter was even a dac, though USB c maybe had some way of knowing it had an analogue sound source being plugged into it so would output that when asked.
OK will start with a better dac dongle, cheers team
