  • Happened yesterday when returning from an interview (we both work for a large print and online media company) when he made the comments. I don't particularly like the guy, but now his true colours have been shown, I'll avoid all bar professional communication.
    As for the HR route, it will be a his word against mine situation, and moved to the too hard basket with the likely outcome counseling, and a target on my head.
    Just really disappointed I didn't call him on it at the time, and it's been gnawing at me since.

  • Had that recently. An older colleague who I've always liked suddenly pops his gasket and starts ranting about bloody feminists and not being allowed to use the n-word about black people anymore. Total wtf moment. Just us two in the room. I just walked out at the time, had to mull it over. Talked to him a few days later, can't say things are ok but I felt better for having done it.
