I have decided that I will try and build the cross check up for my dad.
Unfortunately he has Parkinsons and cycling is getting increasingly hard for him.
We are same height so the frame is a good length but head tube is a tad short. He has specifically said he rather stop cycling than have a sloping top tube (he used to race) so spacer stack it is then...
I need a reliable 27.2 dropper post to make it easier for him to get on and off the bike. Any advice on this is appreciated. Sam at Stayer is currently rocking Brand X and that seams sturdy enough.
All of this is of course sad, but the positive thing is that I will have a bike to ride around when I am visiting :)
