I think the Daily Mash summed up Raab nicely yesterday,
"Man quits after women fails to do his job for him"
My google fu is weak.
Do you have a link?

Teresa May: will political strategistss in the future regard her as just mis-advised or just plain inept?
2017 GE called to obtain a mandate for 'Brexit is Brexit',
2018 trying to sell a tawdry Wuthdrawal Agreement to EU27 leaders in the midst of a Tory no confidence vote. The blame lies squarely on the shoulders of John Major for not deselecting/expelling his b4st4rds in 1992.
This allowed the 'party within a party' Atlantic Bridgers to take over the Tory party aided by the ERG. -

Latest news suggests May is almost certainly set to face a no confidence vote as Tory leader.
I have a bet on that May will still be PM next week.
Even with all the chat, I'm still confident.
Although it looks like the best time to launch a coupe, you need a serious set of balls to take over as PM now. Struggling to see any of the front runners doing it.

TL:DR WW2 and "Germans are all Nazis" never ended in the mind of some Brits. And with Brits it really seems to be England...I've never heard that sort of paranoid nonsense in NI politics.
[we have ve our own yes... :) ]

I think the Daily Mash summed up Raab nicely yesterday,
"Man quits after women fails to do his job for him"
To be fair, the headline pretty much the day after he was appointed was that he had been sidelined and May had taken over direct control of the Brexit negotiations.

If they fail, they’re fucked. So their timing is key.
If they succeed, we’re all fucked.

Don't leadership things need voting by party members?
Do Tory party members do email?
Otherwise postal voting.....i -

Who always looks completely surprised

I can't see them succeeding - don't they need 50% of Tory MPs to depose her? If they don't then I should imagine she is safe until she says "Fuck it, you try" and resigns. She doesn't seem the sort for that though.

The two candidates who go on the ballot paper are decided by Tory MPs, which then goes to a ballot of party members. As Leadsom stepped down last time, May won by default.

Let's think of tv shows that had any Germans in them:
Colditz, Dad's Army, Allo, Allo, Fawlty Towers, League of Gentlemen.Add on Great Escape every Xmas, and all the other ww2 movies it is hard to think of a +ve or sympathetic German on tv outside of 'our' German football players, Uwe Rossler, Jurgen Klinnsman, Michael Ballack, etc.

The last time the slightly less swivel-eyed Tory membership were allowed to vote for a leader they chose the 'quiet man' with a permanent frog in his throat: ids!
That is not going to be allowed to happen again.
Also Tory HQ would be enbarassed by the tiny voting numbers, albeit not ukip leader election laughably small, but definitely derisory. -

Michael Ballack was an unremitting cunt though
