  • i will try to spend the minimum possible to get it rideable so for now these tires will stay, have to look for a saddle (i have a old scuffed turbo that could be ok) and maybe a lighter seatpost from the parts bin if i have any
maybe putt the crank back on and leave the left side with the threads damaged (this will prevent me from selling the bike cause i would never sell something damaged, unless the person does not care of course)
will have to clean up all the shifter cables also, suuuuper gunked up
the brakes have a nice felling and seem to work, maybe i should also upgrade the pads for longer ones, i will see if the braking power is ok once its rideable
bike is on the heavy side tho...

  • Usually the shifters are gunked? Simply spray some wd40 in the shifter while changing the gears up and down. Once it freed up, shoot some grease inside and thats it. Springs and ratchets are usually not fun to put back together after opening the shifter...
