If it gets replacements likely to be a new set of SKS, had some hammered guards on another bike and they were really prone to bending - with the nature of the bike / s&s couplings etc I prefer the springiness of plastic over the deforming nature of alu guards. You’ve convinced me though, will fit some new ones.
It’s the tiny wheels that kills it for me. Functional though.

I agree but it’s going to be used so rarely is it really worth the effort? (I know it probably is...)
