Well I'm always happy to ride with someone rather than on my own on the weekend, I can ping you with ideas if you want?

Team Long and Flat, former Drunken Disorderly, but back on the Wagon,
Form filling - I have some blank entry forms printed from a while back (I don't have a printer so ordered some online for the Wessex entries, accidentally ordered 50!) I can send out to you, but it would be a betterer if you could print them out and just send them to me.
I don't plan on sending them until after Christmas, so there is time yet.
I expect signatures in blood, so if you pull out, we can send the boys round.
@alialias where in London would you be staying? If I put the start control slightly further west, would it massively inconvenience you? @Super_Ted. I assume being on the Surrey border, it wouldn't make too much difference to you?

Snazzy relative has a place in Westminster, I'll ping an email now asking about staying & if there's somewhere for a bike.
My knowledge of London is poor, I'll trundle to wherever, not that arsed. -

Do you work in FinTech and can push out 3W/kg? There might be a club for you.
Seriously though, there probably going to be loads of clubs near you, hopefully some people will come along with some proper suggestions...

Lea Valley CC - Club runs every Sunday from Walthamstow Town Hall, usually three speeds.
Rides from HEX - https://hexcycling.com/ on most Saturdays. Less of a traditional club.

I work as a securities lawyer, advising capital market regulators.
3w/kg should be quite doable. I used to race at the national level in India pushing north of 4w/kg (4.6w/kg is more than sufficient to win the national championship in India) but I suffered a traffic accident last year and am just working my way back to a respectable spot on the watt/kg chart.
Would love to join any groups to train and ride with.

See, we should start at Victoria, to accommodate our Northern friend.

We'll just catch you up at the pub after you've bought the round. It's a genius plan! Or you can get your head down at the 22hr control, and we'll be sure to wake you when we get there.

Someone just replied on YACF about your cake control.
I don't eat eggs or butter etc, so I'll settle on a coffee and a packet of skittles if that is okay.

You're fired.

I'm not that bothered about the start, I ride London every day, just thought it best to avoid the guts of London when riding in a group.
We'll also need to see proof of not voting for Brexit before we accommodate any northerners.
Wake = shake from drunken stupor.

Are we thinking of starting friday morning or saturday morning??
North =/= brexit, even Newcastle voted remain! I'm from NE66 originally though, proper north

There will be a Project LFGSSMKUltra representative on-hand with a collection of scopolamine, sodium pentothal and LSD to establish the truth. Bring a change of clothes.
NE66? I know someone from Alnwick, nearby? -

Old me would have mocked you relentlessly for your food choices, new me is more open-minded about dietary restrictions. New me will mock you relentlessly for something else entirely ;)

Are you a member of a cycling club?
