    It makes no bloody sense at all. Having a brake doesn't mean you can't do 'sick stunts' or whatever the kids say these days. Skid if you want to, it's fun. But then, when you really really need to stop quickly, you have the means to do so.

    The idea of riding a track bike in its track configuration on the road to me is as retarded as taking a Nascar vehicle on public roads. If it was only a risk for the idiots themselves, ok, they can try to kill themselves if they insist. But there's other people out there, and there's really no excuse for potentially ruining someone's season just because they are above having something as essential as a brake on their bike while out in traffic. It's just mental to me.

    In the same way that with one brake like that then signalling right means being temporarily brakeless.

    A good point - and the main reason why I switched to having two levers both actuating the front brake. Now I can do whatever with one arm and still have full braking control with the other.
