FS: JENSEN Columbus Max F+F (200GBP)

JENSEN is a Danish bike shop in the beautiful city of Aarhus.
I have been told that in the 1990's Jensen had a run of Max frames produced in Italy at the same factory/shop where Colnago's where made. This is one of them. Steel was slowly outfaced and this frame never got painted or sold. It was sitting in the basement of the shop until I bought it for my wife four-five years ago.

Seat tube measures 50cm CTC and top tube 52cm CTC

I reckon it will be able to take 28c tyres easily.

Top tube unfortunately has two small dings from storage. These could be filled easily before painting. They are not critical in any way.

There is three sets of sick original iridescent decals included.

It will clean up nicely. There is some obvious surface rust on the mainframe where the chrome is not polished.
Forks and rear triangle are completely polished so a nice masked paint job should be the way to go. The forks are a bit dirty in the photos. But I tell you they are smoking hot when clean.
Steerer is 1" threaded, but I could easily extend steerer for ahead stem. and provide a nice almost new black Cane Creek headset. If you like quill stems the original threaded headset is included in the price.

BB is ITA and seat post is 27.2

On what basis do you say that the dings are not critical? (No offence intended.)

That they are cosmetic rather than prone to cause failure in the tube. Max tubes are very thin wall / light so dings often happen.
The dings are from storage in the shop and my wife has ridden it like this for at least four years.

HT is 11.5cm
