  • I do need some advice re: keeping two rooms, with children in, warm overnight without rinsing my heating.

    Thermovalves on all rads.
    Mobile thermostat.

    Is it:
    a) move the mobile thermo into coolest room, turn down all other thermovalves in house overnight
    b) buy small space heaters
    c) rip out the central space, install a massive burner, and heat the house that way
    d) move
    e) solar reflectivity
    f) bunsen burner
    g) something else

yours in need of a night's sleep undisturbed by a cold child.

  • It's about 18 at night. I think.
I'm asleep and warm so fucked if I care.....

    But seriously folks. Double glazed.
I think the external walls make it cold. I can't get their rooms warm, their noticeably colder than mine. All have wooden flooring. All have new good rads. Not under Windows in either of the rooms.

I think, just put a jumper on and really fixing sheets on one side, plus disciplinary offence, is the best way.
