Cheers! And thanks for the info reg planning permission! My initial idea was get it all done right away but I really underestimated planning and planning permission lead times... reg kitchen, struggling to make any sort of decision really! Can't afford uncommon projects, hopefully can afford nicer than Ikea doors but prob going to go with this guy https://jongrant.london who built my wardrobe in my flat and is super good and super nice.
I'm slightly terrified of the whole thing, friends saved up X to remodel their house and after uncovering a multitude of sins/rotting beams/bodged piping they ended up spending X x 2 and I am not sure whether we'd be able to rustle up much extra cash if it did go over (obvs going to have a couple of quid stashed away for when it does go over a bit).

Congrats. You going for Plykea? Or common projects? My Mates own Plykea and are only based down off the lea bridge rd so easy to go see have a chat if you go that way. Think common projects are in Stoke Newington and had a friend do their kitchen and were great for a more custom fit.
Note to getting planning in Waltham Forest. We applied just for new kitchen within permitted development space in July and just got it yesterday. Maybe just unlucky maybe they’re real busy.
Still not decided if Resi is or will be worth it in the end either as discussed
