It's a Nissan Cube. It was sold in Europe for a while but I think it's JDM only now. Pretty sure it's not a Kei car. Kei cars are limited to 660cc, and the Cube engine is definitely bigger.

they have 1.3 Micra running gear so as @danstuff says, not a Kei car.

I chatted with the owner of one at traffic lights in Hayes back in the Summer.
He claimed his was the 'later EU spec' rather than a personal or Grey import.
Told me spares are easily available as the running gear is all from a mainstream Nissan. Have forgotten which. -

C55 dropped off at the bodyshop- might need to ask one of you lot to collect it whilst I’m in Australia next week.

I'm interested.

Tell me where and when.
"Back tyres were like that when i collected it, i swear"

They’re only 245’s, seems a bit unfair putting 500Nm through them.

1.5l, that model IIRC. I wanted one once, thought they were very practical and interesting design, well specced. Optional artifical grass on dash for holding small objects, coins and cards etc, switchable interior light colours, all kinds of good stuff.

Would like one of these as a mountain bike transporter.

Thanks, that's just what I was after. Wasn't really wondering about the cube but rather the whole phenomenon.

Thats pretty tiny! Seen ford fiestas (not st) on 225 18" recently and they probably aren't even 100nm lol
Volvo had 15" 195 tyres all round, 225 17 is about as large as you can get without having to do arch work. It's probably only 300lb ft though (400nm?) but has so much weight hanging off front it's not that bad.

All depends really...
When you part ex a car at the end of a pcp you’re not “handing it back” to the finance company so you won’t get a bill for the damage as such, they’ll just take it into account when appraising it / valuing it. If you hand it back to the finance company at the end of the agreement due to it being worth less than the GMFV / Final payment, that’s when you’re likely to get stung for any damage. Hope this makes sense
As an aside, from having sold cars for 10ish years mostly on pcp it is worrying that pretty much no one understands how they actually work!

Porsche Trunki?

Bose sub-woofer, goes in the passenger footwell alongside what would be the transmission tunnel if it was 4WD.

Can anyone recommend a good, six channel amp?

Is it in fact the only mass market significantly asymmetric design?

Surely the rears are bi-fold?
Seeing lots of this type of car in Japan atm. Like they've been pressed together. What's the idea, nobody speaks English so haven't been able to find out.
