  • Steel bezel is such a turn off for me, not sure why but it doesn't look right.

  • Love the look but it's massive, what is the dia?

  • Kinda, yes. I have the orange Samurai, too. A tad too much orange between those two.

  • Nothing wrong with a bit of orange on a watch. I have a Squale 1521 with an orange minute hand, works for me.

  • Modded Seiko (and fruit) today

  • Friday Fruit does sound better than the bikeparts/keyboard thing.

  • As long as it doesn't become Fish Friday.

  • Faeces Friday ....no no no

  • Rate my poo.

  • not only would you see great watches, you would know everyones bowel movements down to the second

  • Turdsday?

  • Fucking hell. They ask a lot of money for the Dawn Grey Turtles on Yankee eBay.

  • Because it's a Europe-only limited edition so they can't even get them through the usual asian import dealers. I bet you could get even more from a Japanese buyer if you could navigate the language barrier / Japanese auction sites.

  • Jesus, no kidding. It's nice but it ain't $550 nicer than the standard Turtle line!

  • Huh, I just saw they come with a grey version of the current Prospex rubber starp. That's got to tickle the fancy of the collectors on its own.

  • I have mine on the rubber. Only use the bracelet on the Shogun.

  • Ah, makes sense, that.

Thoughts on this? Part of me thinks, damn, that is insanely good value on the grey market at $550, I really like it aesthetically and I 'need' a watch that isn't a diver. Another part of me thinks...Tissot... nah.

  • Tissot

    Because they are offering

SPECIAL GIFT! ENJOY A FREE TISSOT MUG WITH YOUR NEXT ORDER. VALID ON ALL ORDERS OVER £250. SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

    ?

  • That's the main reason I am interested in the watch, yes.

  • It looks good. Is the movement built in-house?

I have this thing I cannot buy a watch unless the movement is built by the company in question. And that only allows the purchase of Japanese watches as I do not have the monies for Swiss stuff.

  • Nah.... It's my skinny wrists...

Its a 42mm but quite thick. True to its original dimensions but shrunk down a bit.

  • It's a heavily modified ETA I believe. Tissot = Swatch Group = ETA.

  • So depending on your definition of in-house, yes.

  • I quite liked the look of the visiodate. Altho all the online wrist shots make it look a bit boxy and high.
