Cool. Actually 'tis the other way around, 82-84 Squiers are entirely Japanese built and assembled, but certain ones (some Strats only, never Teles or basses) are thought to have used US-made pickups... the ones with the red-lacquered bobbin wire, or so says 21frets.com, which is the Squier oracle. Shame it's a heavy one. Pics?
