Mine is the poverty spec platinum, which iirc is £25 and has travel health cover, and maybe travel insurance... which I also get through my bank.

My logic was:
- flight = £1k or 60k Avios
- we rack up 30k Avios to meet the £10k p/a for the 2-4-1
- card = £180
- 1st flight = ~£500 + 30k Avios
- 2nd flight = £0
  Total = ~£700 for 2 flights saving ~£1,300

Your 2nd flight will still be £500, you're still paying taxes with the companion voucher.

You also need 60k avios (30k each way) which is going on £25k of spend (inc the 25k bonus).
