Don't underestimate Istrian wine and Bosnian food, maybe not honeymoon material, but still worth it

Great stuff.
This reminds me a little of the monastery on Amorgos:

Sono molto geloso! That's an amazing ride and scenery. It really isn't helping with my current autumn induced wanderlust!
Oh e congratulazioni per il tuo fidanzamento!

Apparently faith moves people to do incredible things!

Oh, I don't believe that. :)

Grazie! Then transform that jealousy into more drive to listen to that wanderlust of yours!
Seriously though, after 15 months of traveling I will be in bad bad shape when I will be back in London next week. I will resort to beer many times.

Just saw this. I met Ryan in Santiago last February, he was waiting for a replacement rear derailleur to clear customs.. apparently not easy to find 12 speed groupsets, in South America!
Aside from that very questionable choice, two cameras and a laptop are a bit too much for me, but he's working while traveling, so maybe he needs them. His IG feed is insane.

reporting back to you.
this map is pretty good for general overview. The campsites on it have everything but you pay (or are meant to - i never did and it didn't seem anyone really cared). The picnic sites marked on it are perfect for an over night camp. (camping in cyprus seems to mean full on permanent caravan thing so noone cares about a guy in a tent).
Otherwise on the roads the yellow on that map are unsurfaced which in the troodos is true. out towards the west bit they may have recently tarmaced. but in the mountains it is still rough. here is some pics of road on akamas peninsular.

Looks great!
I have two wheelsets for my bike, was not sure whether to bring 700x28c road or 650x48b gravel one, but with so many gravel roads the answer is simple :)
Your setup (lugagge) looks almost same as mine, how did you pack up? Tent and sleeping bag in handlebar bag, clothes in seatbag?Do you have a map with your route or tracks from Strava etc?

There was certainly a fair bit of tarmac too but you may then be limited in the routes you would have to take.
Sleeping bag, mat and some light clothes in front. Bivy bag and other clothes and whatnot in seatpack. -

Sick pictures and amazing route!
Do you have a route you could share? How did you find out information to put together the route?
You guys had a rather light setup, did you have full on camping gear too? -
