I don't think you get much of a choice there.
Going to hit it on the cross bike on Saturday, got the mud tyres on. Semi slicks were too slick last weekend, spent most of the time trying to point the bike in the direction I wanted to go (same old story I know). Got an MTB on the way to tame that winter mud.
