Mine flexed so much that 2.0 tyre removed the paint from chainstays. I'd hold on for gen 2.

I’ve got a mk1 and love it but would suggest holding out for a gen 2 for rear tyre clearance. I run a 2.3 Maxxis Ardent on the rear and haven’t noticed the flex mentioned by @pit but there’s little room for anything with a bit more meat on for mud or anything offering a touch more cushioning
