liking the look of this jade oil, is it tacky or does it go dry like paint/wax etc?

Jade oil is transparent. It gets dry after a while. 24 hours I think.

The colour is blackening or gun blue. In this case something called slate black from a company called Sculpt Noveau

What did you ask for?

2 bolt front clamp.

I had (perhaps wrongly) assumed the brazing at the bosses would be nicely filed too. Kind of feels half-finished because they don't match.

Aha. He probably foun two bolt dangerous.

I can do the filing for you if you want

Yeah, the 4 bolts doesn’t actually bother me, the unfiled bits do (‘cause when it gets painted gonna look like weird bumps).

That would be amazing if you can tidy them up. I’ll give you a shout in the new year.
