    Then everyone else.

No1 in EU makes as good Ti frames IMO.

    Budget and titanium are oxymoron.

I am getting a Triton because the wait on most of those ^ is ridiculous. Moots wont do 'custom'. Mosaic is the best value for money but I can't fly to USA to collect which means mad shipping price. Goes for all of them tbh. Moots are hardest to get to from UK.

  • Have you seen a Passoni in the flesh? Have to say they're lightyears ahead of any other ti brand I've seen. The quality and neatness of the welding is insane. Makes Moots etc look sloppy.

I was blown away by the ones I saw, shame they cost so much!

On the 'budget' end of the scale I do love my Waltly and was very impressed by the service I got from them

  • I do think Passoni do something to hide the weld beads e.g. filing or some kind of filler which might explain the smooth look.

Eric Baar / GroundUp Speedshop does the best titanium welds IMO. Firefly best overall finishing but insane wait

  • I used to love passoni but for some reason came off them purely for aesthetics reasons I must admit. The quality of the build and the work quality is of course outstanding and admirable.

  • There's a lot more to a good frame than welding that looks good. Baum and Firefly have their tubes custom butted in-house for example, Passoni doesn't. It also looks like they file their welding?
If it's only looks you're after you would also have noticed how average Passoni's paint is, and it's not like they have paid much attention to the graphic design overall (see Baum, Firefly or Stinner for comparison). For £6K I'd expect more.
