Nuts. Almonds. Etc. Berries. Raisins. They are your snack friends. Also, dark chocolate rice cakes are rather nice.
Problem is that a portion of nuts isn't very big and you still have a whole pack of them left over to keep eating...
I had a disappointing handful of pecans once, and then subsequently discovered it was about 400kcal worth. Flipped my shit.
Too calorie dense for me, and too easy to overeat. The fruit, but and chocolate snack mixes are a test from the devil.
Pickled gherkins, raspberries/blackberries/blueberries and sugar free jelly pots have been my snacks when desperate.
