My brother is selling his Seiko SPB053J1, click for full sales spam
Seiko Prospex SPB053J1 "62MAS Modern Interpretation" diver's watch. Purchased from a UK AD in June 2018 and infrequently worn since. This watch is in excellent condition with no scratches or marks anywhere, other than a small mark on the bracelet clasp (which I have pictured). As standard this blue dial version comes only on a black rubber strap. I have added the genuine OEM Seiko steel bracelet as fitted to the SPB051 (black dial) variant. This bracelet alone is worth £200+ and actually costs upwards of £400 from an official Seiko dealer (the Seiko Boutique quoted me £420 fitted, really). It is an unusually good bracelet for Seiko and has some really nice brushed/polished surfaces. Also included is the original standard black rubber strap (also excellent, made of soft rubber and with a steel keeper). This is a really nice example with no chapter ring/bezel alignment issues, a smooth crown action, and which keeps excellent time. Straight out of the box it has consistently gained no more than 1.5 to 2.5 seconds per day. The case back has never been opened. The case itself is really impressive by the way - the fine edges and the zaratsu polishing are amazing for a watch in this price range. The watch is complete, boxed, including the manual, guarantee card (dated and stamped by the retailer) and even the original tag and case back sticker. Please note that the steel bracelet has been sized and had three links taken out. These spare links are included in the sale but be aware that one of the pins has been mislaid, so only two pins are present. The bracelet is quite long so this should only be an issue if you have a very large wrist. Asking £650, located in Stratford / East London. Selling only to fund an SBDC065. Better photos of this model than I could take are here (might be useful as it shows it on a variety of straps): [https://wornandwound.com/review/seiko-prospex-diver-ref-spb053-review/](https://wornandwound.com/review/seiko-prospex-diver-ref-spb053-review/)
