There no service like this that im aware of. I'm also not familiar with the Giro d'Italia but it looks like a predecessor of the Top Time of so you could perhaps start with the Spring Bar and work backwards if you want to learn to spot the fakes yourself.
Otherwise I would register an account on one of the forums, do some reading and place a WTB. Goes without saying, check references and selling history of any seller before parting with money.

if I have a particular vintage watch I would like, and I'd like a decent condition one, can i commission someone to find me one, and if so, who would I speak with in London to get that and how much would the commission be? I have very little knowledge so wouldn't feel comfortable doing it myself.
