Always loved your Patek but that 5119 is fucking lovely. One of the very few watches i like w/ roman numerals.

Yep, 5119 really is the unrivalled king of Calatravas, not a fan of Roman numerals on a watch either but in this case it actually works.

I was given this today as a promise to an off hand bet/reward/agreement that was made years ago which I’d forgotten about. It’s a pretty unbelievable act of kindness from someone I respect very much. Absolutely bowled me over. Chuffed beyond belief and on my birthday weekend :)
