What's up with the Dunlops? I know bugger all about car tyres but I've had nothing but good experiences with Dunlop 2 wheeled racing products.
Historic L/M section tyres. Apparently very tricky to drive well, when compared to modern semi-slick track tyres. They need s very different set up.

Aha- they look cool though! Interesting to hear they're difficult to drive well. Softer sidewalls more wobbly or something like that?
these historic tyres are also crossply as opposed to radial, no?
Crossply tyres are hilariously squirmy, especially with a blocky tread
