Ruislip is facing three threats;
1) HS2 as above
2) Heathrow 3rd Runway would send flights overhead. (Currently we only get RAF Northolt and associated helicopter noise/air pollution).
3) Environment Agency Pinn Valley flood alleviation plan wants to build a dam in Park Wood. So what, eh? That's one of the four woods in Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve. So much water would be stored in peak flow, the structure will be deemed a reservoir! We already have one barely maintained dam in the NNR, at the Lido.
