After Euston Ruislip is the 2nd most disturbed residential area.
The Tunnel that reduces the impact of HS2 from roughly Old Oak Common westwards emerges in Ruislip Golf Course. A supine (Tory) Council caved in instead of protesting through the House of Lords for the tunnel to be extended out to Harefield/M25.
Current projections are 550, (down from 1100), HGV movements per day on an unimproved Victorian farmtrack-based road system.
At least 1,000,000 m3 of excavations to be shifted.
7 years of construction.
