It's English here, but the description for the mounts only mentions r50 and r60.
The description for the r80 fenders says it can use the mount. -

Shit photo but my Lifeline £18 guards are on.
Pretty good. Rear could be longer so will need a makeshift mudflap. Only annoying thing is Decathlon haven't threaded some of the mounting holes. Fine apart from the seatstay bridge where I've had to use a spare really fucking long bolt as the supplied one depended on it being threaded. Oh well.

The front is very short, you'll want a flap on that if you want to keep your feet dry.

My SKS Chromoplastics have seen better days. What’s the forum approved, freely available full coverage fixed ‘guard set these days? Running 35mm tyres on a Planet x London Road.

Gilles Berthoud. This thread is going in circles...

About a month ago I would have said SKS Chromoplastics as I have used them for as long as I can remember. I finally got around to replacing a battered pair and the new (well, not that new) rounder profile is fair inferior to the old squarer section. I can just about squeeze 25mm conti's on my track frame with guards and the new ones flex/twist/move too much and I get slight tyre contact at times which is annoying. But more annoying than that is the rear guard failed after two weeks use by snapping clean in half despite careful drilling and fixing in the same way as I always have done in the past. Been repaired with a riveted stainless bracket for a temp fix, but will be binned once I decide what to get as they are just not as good as they used to be and on a commuter need to be super reliable...

Just bought some pig ugly Zefal swan croozer road guards. In my defense they were cheap, tenner the pair, and well reviewed. Seemed to spend more time fiddling with raceblades than using them.

gotta say that i am pretty disappointed in the velo duo carbon guards. they are way more flexible than the pdw guards they replaced and their curvature is such that they are harder to mount than any others i've tried. they are lighter by a good bit but i don't think i'd buy them again. the mounting hardware is also just standard velo orange kit.

Before I start chopping and bodging... How much should my front mudguard extend forward into my front wheel? I got longboards and my forks only have a bolt on the rear, so it does extend more rearwards

Mine is attached on the back, it is pretty low, but I was riding up leafy bridlepaths, so I'll leave it as it is for now.
Excuse the mess. I'm a slob

can you post a pic of the server box in the background?

It housed a Fujitsu Primergy TX1330 M3. Box is long gone I'm afraid, but I have found an old photo of a similar one. It looks like I'm sitting in a box today

I too, have many cardboard boxes. They have contained many things. Like yours, including small children. /csb

How do I attach mudguards to these forks? Can't use the sks stay mounting clamps because the caliper is in the way then. Can't use the fork bolts because they're too far up and the stays aren't long enough.
I had a look at the pdw eyelet set but I want to use a wald rack at some point soon and they say not to use them with a rack. Can you use a wald rack with those mid fork bolts? I had a look and couldn't see any pictures of anyone using them.
I can't afford to be without the forks either so getting eyelets brazed on is a no go

I have a wald rack on some mid fork lo rider mounts, works fine.
I would attach the mud guards to the mid fork mounts and bend the stays

Try your spare inner tube go round hack

use a zip tie? if tightened correctly the conical shape of the fork should prevent the mudguard to slip downwards?
EDIT: a zip tie that does go aroung the fork and through the hole, the top of the bracket hole will be supported by the zip tie, and the zip tie if tightened might not slip downwards on the fork which should hold the mudguard? -

I fitted a set of Kinesis Fend Off mudguards to a new winter bike, really impressed by the quality of them. Needed a bit of modifying to get the front closer to the wheel, but that's mostly because I'm running 28mm tyres in a fork designed for up to 40mm tyres.
The one annoying thing is that Kinesis supply flaps with the guards, but no mounting hardware. Seems like a weird place to save money as it's really irritating to the consumer.

Just had a thought. If you bought a set of replacement PDW tabs for the QR mount (seen here: https://ridepdw.com/collections/fenders/products/eyelet-set?variant=24829600001#) could those effectively convert any mudguard set to non-mount compatible (assuming you get creative with the mount on the seat tube)? Guessing there's a reason some-one hasn't done this before, though.
They look good, I think 2.8 might be max clearance from looking at your picture.
Those Pletscher R80 also look good. I could handle the price if they can take a rear pannier as some pictures online suggest but details are hazy and I can’t read German.
