  • And just like that, it's dark and cold, the clocks have gone back, another season has gone by.

cheers @Scrabble for info on this

  • @jaeyukdapbap make sure you go my awesome "chill" way out

  • Looking damp....

  • Oh, oh, oh! Oh, I will!

    But somewhat ammended.

To a point that it's quite a different route.

Apart from that really nice bit at the end...

  • I’ve sent you accross fields and shit...

What percentage maybe are you looking at?

  • I am out for this. Been gazumped by my partner. On the main TNRC thread I'm going to beg for an evening change for next season, not making Thursdays is killing me

  • To clarify I am gutted and/or a bit despondent about missing this.

  • I’m up for this - I’ll jump on the train at Clapham junction though.

  • @seager cool, see you there.

@youramericanlover rest assured the feeling is mutual.

It should dry up in the afternoon and evening. It will still be rather cold out there though!

  • It will still be FUCKING FREEZING out there though!

    FTFY

  • @Rod_Munch its a tough old sport. Barhatch instead of Hound House Lane to keep us warm?

  • So I don't think I could possibly make this, but just out of interest, what kind of speed are you guys aiming for on such evening excursions? Also are you actually riding fixed or are you on geared bikes? Sorry to butt in out of nowhere!

  • This should answer all your q's.

But in short, about 17mph and most ride fixed but there will always be at least one geared bike in the group. As long as you're riding fixed friendly then gears are very welcome. Some ride out and back bringing their total distance to about 100 miles for the evening. Majority get the train out and back.

Tonight is the last ride of the season officially, but if a nice evening pops up and the stars align there could be an out of season ride. Keep your eyes peeled. Very welcome!

  • Thanks, sounds good! I ride fixed (and currently n=1, so I don't get a choice about that either), but I think my gearing is possibly a bit high at the moment. Also I'm not really a big group rider, but I wouldn't be against trying it out again :)

  • 'about 17 mph' might be a bit generous, let's rather say 'between 15 and 17' :) This is the thread to follow for this year's rides and the odd off-season outing.

  • @rhowe , @middleofnowhere , will we have the pleasure of riding with you this evening?

  • Following it now, thanks :)
